COVID-19 Resources
The world is currently experiencing a period of unprecedented challenges, and there is much uncertainty from governments, businesses, and the general public alike. In an effort to alleviate some of this uncertainty, the Pacific NorthWest Economic Region's (PNWER) Center for Regional Disaster Resilience (CRDR) has put together an evolving catalogue of general resources for the coronavirus pandemic as well as more specific information on the U.S.-Canada border closure, essential workforce, public health, and economic impact.
At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, PNWER began assembling calls of our elected officials to discuss ways we could respond to COVID-19 as a region. We then began having separate calls between economic recovery leaders in both the U.S. and Canada, before combining these efforts into our ongoing COVID-19 Recovery Call Series.
The goal of this call series is to share information and promote best practices to ensure decision makers in our region have a working understanding of the 'puzzle pieces' that will support safe and sustainable post-COVID economic recovery. Previous calls have explored several topics, including contact tracing and exposure notification apps. You can learn more about the COVID-19 Recovery Call series by clicking the button below!
