Recognizing that private industry, and non-governmental organizations constitute integral and essential components of every region, The CRDR acknowledges the need to coordinate for a bio-event across the healthcare sector and other organizations with roles in emergency management. This includes work in partnership with the private sector and other key regional stakeholders. Through this understanding, the CRDR actively engages in the public health sector and has led and participated in a number of pandemic and bio-event resilience initiatives.

The goal of this call series is to share information and promote best practices to ensure decision- makers in our region have a working understanding of the 'puzzle pieces' that will support safe and sustainable post-COVID economic recovery.
