Maritime Resilience

The waterways of the Pacific Northwest are a great asset to the region. Maritime resilience will be a critical component for response and recovery from a major disaster in the region. Much work has been accomplished in the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada over the past several years to bolster resilience and improve coordination. As one of our greatest assets it will be critical to have plans, guidelines and procedures in place to ensure the resilience of the region. The Pacific Northwest Economic Region (PNWER), through its Center for Regional Disaster Resilience (CRDR), leads efforts that include working with US and Canadian partners on an action plan for a path forward.
