Disruptive trends in Public Safety Technology

Innovations in technology have the potential to revolutionize how first responders accomplish their mission. The Pacific NorthWest Economic Region's Center for Regional Disaster Resilience hosted the Public Safety Technology Symposium on May 23rd, 2017. Attendees explored current and emerging technologies used by emergency managers, first responders, and law enforcement. The symposium helped develop a common understanding of the current technology being used on the ground and near-term developments, with the ultimate goal of improving coordination and response among first responders.
